Lisa Vanderpump: Celebrity Beauty Secrets, The Real Housewives Series

Its reunion day on Season Four of the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and as you probably know from my previous post on Kyle Richards I am a huge Housewives fan.  This season has been pretty crazy, particularly with all the controversy & drama surrounding one of my all-time favourite housewives Lisa Vanderpump.

Love or hate Lisa there is no denying she really is the epitome of timeless glamour. From her home to her businesses everything Lisa does ooze’s style and sophistication.

Lisa is not only the star of several Bravo television series (Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules) but a hugely successful business woman, author, actress, designer, philanthropist, mother and wife of 32 years! As a style conscious woman in the corporate world I really admire her ability to always keep her style feminine yet professional.

I want to share with you one of my favourite Lisa Vanderpump quotes that I think really sums up her outlook on hair, beauty and skincare. 'I look at 'The Real Housewives' and think, 'My God, my hair is a mess.' But hair can't always be my priority... I'm a business woman and restaurant owner, so I'm busy.' (source Dailymail).I think we can all relate to Lisa, whether you are a mother, business woman, student or all of the above you are probably regularly pressed for time when getting ready in the morning. 

The Makeup

For a classic juicy Vanderpump lip Lisa likes to mix both Chanel Glossimer 11 Twinkle with Glossimer 2 in Brilliance. Although these products are on the pricey end I have to agree with Lisa that you need to invest in your makeup products, as with most things in life 'you get what you pay for'. Lisa shared that she loves the textures of her Chanel glosses and as I own both of these shades (as well as many other Chanel Glossimers) I can definitely attest to that.

Vanderpump also swears by Joe Blasco foundation ("I've had many foundations, but this one is cheap and really good"), Epione Flawless, Maybelline Lash Discovery Waterproof Mascara, and Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat ("It's one of those amazing things-like a miracle worker"). Fragrance

Lisa has shared her love for both the original scent by Chloe (the one “in the square bottle”), Chloe Eau De Parfum Spray and Stella McCartney Stella Eau De Parfum Spray.

Skin

Lisa happens to be the face of her own skincare line Epione Skin Care created by Dr. Ourian from Epione Medical Center, located in Beverly Hills. In particular she raves about the Firm and Fade cream.

Skin: Lisa touts Epione, her own skin care line she created with Dr. Simon Ourian, as her fave product for the face. in particular, Lisa likes the Firm and Fade cream. Lisa always admits to having regular Botox and filler treatments and uses retinol acid to exfoliate the skin.

Vanity
