What I say:

As a long time devotee to Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick's I was so excited to see this collection contained 3 brand new shades. Unfortunately I could only find two of the three shades so I missed out on Abstract Orange - a warm toned coppery orange, go figure?

Super lustrous is available in several finishes (creme, matte, pearl) and these two shades are my first experience with the pearl finish. I find the formula is most comparable with the YSL Rouge Pur Shine's minus the taste/smell. They are both extremely light weight with almost "slippery" qualities that feel extremely comfortable and moisturizing on the lip. 

The pearlescent nature of both lipsticks makes them perfect for pairing over a more pigmented or matte lipstick for added depth, gloss and shine. Violet Frenzy in particular looks amazing applied to the center of the lips over a pigmented hot pink like MAC Show Orchid.

Overall I adore both shades I picked up and I love that they add something unique to my ridiculous lipstick collection. If you haven't tried the Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick's I highly recommend not only these 2 new shades but majority of shades in the standard line, Revlon - give yourself a pat on the back for this formula!

• Thin and light texture on the lips
• Flattering
• Easy to reapply
• Glide on comfortable wearing formula

Cons

• Fast wearing - you will need to reapply every 2-3 hours

Violet Frenzy

A sheer cool toned grape purple with a hint of magenta and  pearlescent fine shimmer. 

Perfect "day time" purple.

A sheer and frosty  pearlescent pale pink with a hint of warmth. Porn star pout!
