Long time no haul? Benefit Cosmetics

I know, I know........... It's like I disappeared off the face of the earth, right?

I don't really have an excuse, I just haven't felt inspired to blog so much lately. I was pretty unimpressed by my page set-up and got caught up in a rut. Laziness and procrastination don't help either. On another note my personal life has felt like a roller-coaster at late, so many ups, downs - loopty loops.

Anyway, I am making a conscious effort to dedicate more time to blogging and therefore myself.

Call it a form of therapy..... for shopaholics.

Dolce & Gabbana Cosmetics - Haul & Review

I originally uploaded this post last week but unfortunately Blogger had all those technical difficulties and it was taken down and LOST! I'm now kicking myself that I don't keep a backup of my lengthier blog posts... It's definitely something i need to consider. If you blog let me know if you keep a backup and also if the blogger problems affected you, i was so upset that my post was lost!

So, originally I was drawn to Dolce & Gabbana Cosmetics because of the heartbreakingly beautiful Scarlett Johanssen and the amazing promo pictures. Don't they just scream old Hollywood and Marilyn Monroe?

When it comes it makeup I can be very gullable and jump on fads, it's just part of the unfortunate addiction... So if something alludes to giving me the look of Marilyn Monroe, my idol, *almost* regardless of the price point and previous reviews I just cannot resist and I must haul.

So haul I did.........................

NARS Limited Edition Tainted Love Set

Angelika by NARS is pretty much my favourite bright pink blusher of all time, i love the bold cotton candy pink with amazing pigmentation and little golden shimmers. When I saw this limited edition release by NARS for Valentines day 2011 I was all over it! I am so glad NARS are starting to adapt a lot of their blush colour's into various products across the range of cosmetics, I hear the next adaption will be Laguna.... How exciting!

YSL Spring Makeup Collection 2011

When i originally saw the promo pictures for this collection on Temptalia i was swooning over all the bright and jewel toned colours, but after I finally got to go into store and have a look (in Sydney) last week i was ultimately underwhelmed. I feel like YSL have released a lot of these colour's already at some point over the years. So i ended making just a few purchases which was needless to say great for my wallet but bad for my shopping addiction! Keep reading for review's on what I got :)

Juicy Couture - ASOS

Wanted to share my little Juicy Haul with you guys, I first came across these gorgeous UGG's in Myer Sydney for $220.00 and loved the whole Glitzy-Leopard look but didn't really want to spend so much on UGG's..... Luckily i found the exact same pair on ASOS for only 80pounds (UK Site) or equivalent to about $140.00AUD. SOLD! 

The Leopard lining is amazingly soft and decadent and as with all Juicy products the boots are amazing quality. The style is Malia Short Suede Boot and they come in black and Tan. I'll be wearing them with skinny jeans and a over-sized tee for a casual/comfy look with a bit of bling.

Cannot wait for Winter this year, our summer in Sydney has been insanely hot and i'm ready for cosy knits, rainy days and hot chocolate! Bring it......

The Fusion Essentials 5 Piece Kit - Strawberry.net

A lot of you have probably heard of an online cosmetic discount store called strawberry.net, their advertisements seem to be all over the web and they offer 100's of different cosmetic/skin care/hair products for a "discounted" price. I have always been very intrigued by the idea of buying from a wholesale type website, we don't have any CCO's in Australia and as i mentioned many times we don't have as many brans accessible and all items are sold at really inflated prices.

A very lushly christmas!

Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas in my house without the wonderful scents of Lush beaming out of our bathroom. The best products from Lush are always the holiday scents, so i go a bit crazy when December rolls around and i can once again buy the cheesy novelty bath products i've been missing all year.

Now i know Lush hauls are usually a bit useless, it's difficult for me to explain fragrances but i think it's important to share particular products that are out there because when you walk into Lush it can a little overwhelming with so much to pick from and heavenly scents coming from everywhere. I just have to add that if you haven't tried anything from Lush boy are you missing out, they are the best bath products on the market and i've tried a hell of a lot. Have a browse through this post and even the Lush website, pick something that appeals to you and give it a try....... i promise you won't be disappointed!
